Church House Furniture Makers, based in the South West, have been designing and making fine furniture and architectural joinery for more than thirty years. Founded by Robert Coles, trained as an interior designer, Church House Furniture Makers was aspired by an appreciation of the practical art of furniture making.

Church House Furniture Makers brings to architectural joinery high standards of cabinet making allied to an appreciation of design and attention to detail. Specialising in geometric staircase and handrailing they have a wealth of experience and a team of craftsmen who can turn your ideas into reality. We are able to design, make and supply or make and fit. All precisely created to your exact requirements.

Rather than produce a specific range of pieces for sale, we prefer to work directly with you or your architect. This allows us to continue creating unique and original pieces. Although we're happy to base a new piece of work upon an existing piece, you may prefer to use different woods or explore different finishes. Since we start each piece from scratch, there is tremendous freedom to be creative and unique to you.

We are unable to give specific prices for items of work displayed on this site, since each piece is made to order and costs can vary according to materials used, finish required, and the techniques employed.
